Yes! To my mind it's almost exactly what a 21st century 928 would be - V8 GT, Hatchback with a Transaxle.

I can assure you, this car looks outstanding in real life. Much better than in pictures. The interior is one of the finest I've ever sat in for design and quality.
The early reviews are really encouraging and if it's like a 'better SLS' then it's going to be something special.
Quite a bargain too because it shares the SLS underpinnings which are extremely elaborate and I'd imagine expensive - if you ever see the SLS suspension in particular it's very elaborate and expensive looking. I guess AMG kept their development costs down by basing the GT on the SLS which I suspect was all paid for...so they can now offer the technology at a lower price.

It does look a lot like the Z8 from the back which by the way i think looked great.
maybe lights yes, but Z8 a roadstr, no?
