First Main Dealer Service experience

I feel that any business has to make a profit, otherwise it will quickly stop trading....... Before comparing the price charged by a so-called specialist, lets look at the training courses the technicians have to do at the dealership and yes, by crikey I know we DO have independents that go on courses but that is definitely the exception that makes the rule. Look at the equipment, the computers at the main dealer. The staff they employ, the site they have to pay for. The list is endless and I guess we all get what we pay for. Everytime the car goes in for a service at the main dealer it gets all the latest updates available for that specific model, not something that is the norm for your average indie.
