If it was registered in July 16, you definitely need a B Service now. Either the previous keeper or the dealer you bought it from has cleared off the service due message.

Could it be possible that I has been serviced, but at a non mb dealer and one that doesn’t have access to the digital service record of your car, so it doesn’t show up when the mb dealer looks?

The cynic in me thinks that the only thing that matters is the digital record. Whether the actual work was done is almost irrelevant. Conversely, if the work has been done, but the record hasn’t been updated, it may as well not have been as far as MB are concerned.

The same cynic also wonders just what the MB warranty is actually worth anyway, beyond the leverage it offers MB to persuade us to keep paying for servicing.

Have booked it in for it's B service, also requires a break fluid change due to the age, not mileage, £520.00 (ouch).
