First Service

Booked up my first service today with Arlington at Northampton.
They asked for chassis number, reg and mileage which I duly gave them then I asked if he knew what model my car was, he did'nt, I then asked how much it would cost.... £200-£220... I said O.K. you do know its an AMG he said ohh.. that will be £240-£250 then. After a joke about it he did say it was beacause it needed more oil.
Anybody had any problems / good comments about Arlingtons at Northampton??
I will post how I got on anyway.

LOL yeah right!

Time taken to "inspect" the service and stamp the book: 2.5 hours @ 80+VAT per hour...

Total: £235

If it's only £240 then I'd get it serviced at the stealership, that's a bargain!

150 Euros in Germany for an A Service - now that's a bargain !

But I'd say £240 was pretty good for over here !
