Hi guys. Just after some advice.

Just bought my first Benz, a 2015 c200 estate premium plus with a pano roof.

The car has had full MB service history.

I’m an avid diyer and do usually all my own servicing that I document well and backed up with receipts.

The Benz is for the mrs and I own an Impreza that I maintain myself. My ocd kicks in so every year it has all filters changed and oil but 6 months in between it has an oil and oil filter change. Overkill I know considering the Impreza barely does 1500 miles in the year.

Back to the Benz. I’ve order all the filters, oil and spark plugs from MB Newcastle on their eBay page ( who have been great and any questions I had they answered straightaway). Are these just as easy to service or is there any pitfalls to watch out?

Any help and advice appreciated.

Oil, filter and plug changes are fairly straightforward on the smaller engines. I'm doing the same on my S204 wagon.
ATF and brake fluid changes not so simple although there are some very good DIY videos on You tube to help out.
Hope your missus enjoys the car

Done the brakes and brake fluid on the Impreza. Saw a good method on the Impreza forum for atf fluid change which worked quite well. Suck out the old fluid from reservoir and fill with new. Start car and turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times. Switch off the engine and repeat. Keep on doing this until the fluid you extract is clean.

I think you are talking about the brake fluid?
If you have the 9 speed transmission, its a lot different method changing the ATF to the normal method.
I'd leave that to a specialist.

I meant power steering fluid. Don’t think I’d attempt auto transmission fluid.
