The "Bentely style" mesh grill was an upgrade but now, on the "SRT Design" version, it's standard. Personally I think it looks good - not just 'cos it looks a bit like a Bentley but it just suits the car!

~ 10 years ago was the era of the 'Lexus' light phenomenon (and neon washer jets?...)

Saw an old 90s Passat today driving towards me sporting what must be the new chavmobile adornment of the future, 'Audi headlights'/daytime LED striplights
