Wow!
What a difference!!
I have tried a couple of internal dab aerials, they are all pretty pants, different levels of crap to be honest.
Put a Kinetic DRA6003 on the other day and the difference is stunning, the location where I fitted it I could not get any reception at all with the internal screen antenna, I nearly didn't bother installing it there, but was a bit limited to where I could so decided to go for it, and with the 6003 stubby roof aerial I got full bars reception.
Not had a single drop out or break up since.
Kinetic DRA-6003 Stubby DAB/DABplus/FM/SW/MW/LW Car Radio Aerial
FM and AM are better than the internal rear screen amplified aerial on the car too.
So, if anyone is considering going DAB definitely budget for one of these.
Of if you have the oem Merc DAB, maybe consider upgrading the aerial, as every Merc I have been in has had terrible DAB reception.
