I have just purchased a set of 17" alloys for my SL350. I am wanting to fit winter tyres on them, and having looked at tyres available, there is a much better range for 245/45/17 than there is for 255/45/17. Would I be okay fitting the 245's or would issues follow? Many thanks.
Looking at this, I am thinking I should be fine, as only 1.36% difference.
