HI all,
I have serched other threads but can't seem to find the awnser so i am sorry if it has been listed before.
I have just bought a clk with command. w209.
i have a nokia 6230i and want to know what is the best way to get hands free in the clk.
i would like to hook the phone up with the command but i am unsure if this is possable.
my last car a volvo, i fitted and hands free kit and used a autoleads kit to mute the stereo when the phone rang etc... but the command stereo is more complax as you can make calls from it (I BELIVE ) but don't know how.
should i just go bluethooth and if so which is best, or a cradle jobbie?
Thanks Andy

Hi I'm open to correction on this but if you're car is not factory prewired (to the armrest) then it is a big and expensive job having this fitted to enable dialling through COMAND, steering wheel buttons working etc.

What I would suggest is the following, If steering wheel buttons are a must then there are 2 kits which will allow you to use them with an extra harness , these are the Parrot 3000 evolution and Parrot 3100. If steering wheel buttons are not an issue then arguable the best bluetooth kit on the market at present is the Parrot 3200 which I have just fitted to my 203 C Class.

I don't know whether the 209 ever came with COMAND 2.0E? but I think that's what I have and if so it is a fairly simple plug and play fit +12v & Switched ignition aside which need to be taken from elsewhere (cheers Fuzzer...again)
