Fitting a parrot to a Mercedes SL 350

Hi people I'm struggling with my SL 350 on getting music from my mobile through the car speakers I own a SL 350 on 2004 plate with the newer wide screen nav it's the NTG1 " see pic" sadly the car has no aux port " bad on MB for this" the NTG1 head unit has 1 port only any help on this I be greatfull
So a parrot how does this get installed to the unit any info it's my only option I don't need it for telephone as I have the MB phone module fitted ... Can Any one help me in this on kind regards Steve ..

Hi

Your car has an AGW hidden beside the stowage box in rear. If you do not have BOSE there is a SOT lead available, it runs from there to the parrot at the front. If it has BOSE than I don't think a lead is available (Haven't had a good look) and you may not be able to put a parrot in.

You'll probably need to remove the passenger seat to hide the wiring (i.e put it into the wiring duct although you may just be able to tuck it down the side of the carpet if you are lucky.

Hi Richard is this were the 6 cd changer is located how do I no if I have boss don't think so .. do I need to remove the cd changer located behind the passenger seat in the box ? Thanks for your info on this Steve

It's to the left of the CDC between box and side of car. You need to take out that side panel. Be careful all SL parts are expensive and the panel hooks into the rear panel and you don't want to break the hook or it will rattle. If you break any of the clips for the side panel replace them or it will rattle. I'm sure you'll find a video on Youtube.

If you have BOSE you will have BOSE written on the front speaker grilles.

Have you had a really good look inside the glovebox? It's on the right side and quite well hidden. My 2003 model had one and I connected my ipoi to it at the time

Yes M8 I have the NTG1 navigation I think this was fitted to the 2004 model onwards till they came out with NTG2 so yea shame they removed it thanks steve
