Fitting a X pipe to a V8 Kompressor

No disrespect to any body but that looks a very poorly designed x pipe . The diameter of where both pipes meet is very narrow and the tubing looks too narrow . The way the x pipe slips into the original pipe will slow down the flow of the exhaust gasses before it hits the restricted x pipe . The x pipe should slip over the original pipes to keep the speed of the exhaust at a maximum .
It's other wise looks well made
