Fitting new twin tail pipes to SL350

Hi has anyone had new tail pipes fitted to an SL350 or SL500 I am interested in having the AMG style 4 pipes fitted in place of the the original single pipe on each side,I think it can be done and hopefully give a better sound and maybe improved performance,look forward to any comments on this.

I know it can be done, and think it would be a nice thing for your car to have. It may release a little more performance.

Tail Pipes

Hi

This might help: had these done for a C Class in April 2012.
Done at ProFlow Exhausts Birmingham as advertised on Ebay.
Very good service and competitve - prices include from the cat back.
Will provide any tailpipes of your choice.
Have attached picture of the C Class.
I am considering having it done to my SL R230 when funds permit.
Would have no hesitation about going back to them. Only drawback
for us is that it is in Birmingham.

Thank you all for the replies,I will be having the work done in Grays by a firm called Vortex Exhausts,cat back system plus new mufflers and AMG quad pipes,lots of pennies though but worth it I hope for the awesome exhaust sound and maybe a little more performance.
