Fitting reverse camera to a CLC

Hello,

I'd like to fit a reverse camera to my 2009 CLC350 with COMAND NTG2.5. Presumably any camera for the W203 C-Class will fit? Or are the number plate lights different between the CLC and C-Class? Also, I know how to remove the COMAND - but I don't know what is involved in running the wiring loom through the car. Is this a lot of work? Does it need any special tools?

I suggest you talk to www.comandonline.co.uk , they will know exactly what is needed and can also supply any bits you are missing.

Thanks - spoke to COMAND and they have given me a price for a suitable camera, but won't let me have a look at the fitting instructions so I am still a bit in the dark about how much work is involved in the installation. I just need to know where the cable runs through the car in the CLC. The boot hinges are on the roof, so presumably the cable runs through the headlining and then down the A-pillars? Are there conduits to feed the cable through? Or do I have to take out the headlining?
