fitting w124 rear lights

got a pre facelift ce that i want to add facelift rear lights. i know they fit but can you just fit the lenses or do you need the whole unit?

I think its the whole thing. Certainly is for the estate. Quite pricey unless you get second hand ones.

on the sedan/CE it should be just the lenses and add two amber turn signal bulbs as i recall

thanks guys! im hoping its just the lenses that need changing as i have bought some facelift ones! il let you know how it goes

It's so easy to just change the whole unit , about 6 bolts

yer i know its easy but i have only bought the lenses
