Prevention doesn't work. You get prosectuted for trying to prevent other motorists from speeding.

You're a little behind the curve in this one, cazyp. I was talking about preventing the offence, not trying to prevent its detection. The argument's been done to death in the other thread.

Mmm read the above thread as it was heappening. It could be argued that by flashing his lights he was trying to prevent cars from speeding and committing an offence - you see drivers flashing and slow down. He couldn't have flashed to prevent the detection, as he had no way of knowing any offence was being committed by the drivers travelling towards him.
Anyway - not getting into that argument again lol.
