Flat battery W210 E240

Hello all,

Just came back from two week holiday and car wont start. Me being a bit thick cant find the battery. Is it below the rear seats? Is the metal lug in a black box with a red + (in front of the air con) a connection to the battery. Assuming it is would it be best to jump start or trickle charge?

Wifes nissan micra been sat for three weeks and started first time!

Under the rear seat on the right. Charge it from there.

How old is the battery? There should be a date stamp on there. It may need a new one.

I cant even see how to lift the seat. Not sure how old the battery is only had the car a year. The car had always started with the slightest flick of the key, very suprised it didnt start.

Look in your hand book. It will explain all in there. If the battery is original (which it may be) it has lasted very well.
