I'm looking into a flat screen LCD TV. I like the look of the Samsung R73 and R74 series. I want it to be HD ready, with built in Freeview tuner. Does anybody know the difference between the R73 and R74 Series, or is it purely cosmetic looks? I think the R73 series looks better personally.

I spoke to a Service engineer which were the best ones, in the conversation he said he was going out to repair lots of Samsung's (didn't say which model) as they were starting to arc at the bottom???.. best have a look on the web to see if anyone is reporting the same problem

I have the older R51 which I've been very happy with. I got it on the recommendation from some guys at work who also have them. As far as I'm aware non of them have had any issue's either.

Not sure about the difference between the two models but my freind has just bought a Samsung LCD TV. The reason apparently is that Samsung LCD screens are generally regarded as one of the best. He spent months looking into it and is very picky whenever he buys anything like this so I do tend to rely on his opinions with things like this.
