Flexible Universal Radiator Hose

Hello All,

I have tried numerous website and ebay for top water hose for my 280CE. I am considering going for universal flexible water hose if even Mercedes doesn't stock them.

I am wondering if anyone is or have been in my position, and what are your experience/comments about those flexible water hose?

Any comments welcome.

Iirc mb can get any bit for almost any merc

I've used convoluted universal hose on my old golf when the pipe split miles from anywhere ....

Worked fine , so i didn't bother changing it .... I would have thought you'll be ok. Saying that , as Lynall says , MB can get pretty much any part.

Assuming it is number 80 in THIS diagram , you can buy it from Inchcape for £20 .... link below.

Thank you so very much!!! I have been looking for literally the last 7 days and could not drive the car due to the leak. Will definitely buy it now, its no. 82 btw. Thank you very much!!! I have visited this site before but could find it by searching vehicle. Thanks!

Angus, I've got a hose for a 280E in my garage which I'm fairly sure is the same as #82. You can have it if you want it. PM me your details.
