Hi

New to the forum, all the way from Australia.

I have been searching for a flywheel for my 1982 280e, m110 five speed manual. I have been searching for months with no luck.

If any Mercedes gurus on this forum might know where I can get one or know if any other model flywheels might be compatible, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried mbspares in fyshwick?

I'm not sure if it's specific to the 280 5 speed? If you send me the vin number i can lookup the mercedes part number.

5 speed 280's weren't that common so you may struggle.

Thanks for replying,
I actually don’t have the VIN as the car is a 1972 280ce that i built with a five speed transmission from a 280e.
But I will try MB spares in Fyshwick
Thanks for your help.

these guys will know. This I believe is the manual one A1100300705

I would doubt there's any difference between a 4spd/5spd manual flywheel--- auto and manual box yes.

here's the auto one A1100300205

ps the M110 was used for a long time in the 460 G wagen which were popular in OZ you might get lucky

Thank you so much

The first one seems like a winner.

I appreciate this so much, I’ve just emailed them. Fingers crossed it’s compatible. I’ve been looking for this for months.

Thanks again.
