Ok I needed a new driver side fog light unit as old one has crack in the glass.

Ordered one from Europarts it was totally wrong, wrong shape, size and bulb type (H7). Returned it. £16.20

Ordrred one from Ace car parts off ebay, unit is same as mines size mounting etc. Bulb type is H7. £41.40

My Bulb I removed from fog light is H11.

Is something a miss with my bulbs or is it a coincidence I have been sent lamps with H7 bulbs twice.

Also where can I get a unit from for a reasonable price which is correct and fits my car.

Not willing to pay dealer £117 for a fog light. The glass can not be separated and reattached as it looks like it is bonded on.

Ok bulb goes in, H7 bulb spilts from holder, clips in then bulb holder clips onto the 2 pin bulb, and car wiring plugs into holder.

But light is incorrect as t is too long for space and sits wrong on the bumper meaning I can not get the front cover on, AMG bumper with chrome fog lights trims.

This is the 2nd fog light and it does not fit.

Other than a new one where do I go.

Tried Ebay, Dronfields, part finder.

Try carparts4less.co.uk, it’s part of euro car parts but was cheaper than ecp for my fog light.
Also spoke to them to make sure I was ordering the right one and they were very helpful.
Does your passenger side fogs have H11 bulb? Mine had H7 bulbs and was branded Helle.
Their part number was 475220490.
Good luck

Ebay? But they are a complete sealed unit and expensive.

Get some Lamin-X to cover the new ones to stop it happening again.

Mines a H7 which goes into foglight secured by clips bit like head lamp bulbs, then a bulb holder clips onto the 2 pins of bulb, which then connects to car wiring loom.

Will do, wish previous owner did that
