Having just returned from dropping the car off for a service I can't help but notice it is VERY foggy out there this morning.
Indeed at one point it was foggy enough for me to actually turn on my rear fog lamps
But as I drove through the fog, I could not help but noticing an awful lot of new MLs on the road. I also couldn't help but notice that not one of them had any lights on other than the DRLs on the front.
Then I notice this trend also extended to BMWs as well.
So after nearly ploughing into the back of an unlit "GREY" X5 I was forced to get out and say something and the response I got from the woman driving her kids to school was
"I thought they were always on" following by pointing me at the headlamp switch which was clearly set to AUTO
So I suspect that all these idiots driving around with no lights on actually do not realise this and assume that auto lights work just fine in fog
Then of course for all the other drivers, driving with your parking lights on really doesn't help in this weather. What are you trying to do? Save electricity?
Madness
