Folding mirrors problem - any suggestions?

My wing mirrors fold automatically when I lock the car. In the last couple of days, the driver's side mirror folds OK, but seems to keep trying to close a bit more and clicks a couple of times.

Is there any way to adjust/reset them? Any ideas why this might have started happening for no apparent reason?

If mine play up I just spray PTFE lubricant behind the glass, copious amounts to ensure all moving parts get covered and all is well, place some cloths under the mirror to catch the drips or it goes down the door.

I used to remove the glass and do it, but found it quicker and just as good to spray behind it.
