Folding side mirrors don't work

Hi, Put the car in the garage last night, mirrors folded OK, got in the car this morning mirrors would not unfold. Have tried resetting the setting, disconnecting and re-connecting , no joy. Can anyone help?

Sorry, it's a 2004 SL350

Suspect a broken wire to the folding motor. It's very common.
It could be other things like the folding motor, door control unit is faulty too.
