Good morning

I have just purchased a 2022 GLB200 AMG before this I had EQC400 and GLC200D So my question this model does not have folding mirrors on locking the car and I have seen someone else purchased a 2019 plate and said their car never had folding wing mirrors operating on locking the car and when covid was around there was problem sourcing the mirrors? whether this true I don't know I checked the settings and there is no box to click to programme folding mirrors. My question is can I fold these manually I was a mechanic years ago and you could turned the mirrors in with technology changing best to ask. So I look forward to answers on my question thank you

Welcome.

Does your car have electrically folding mirrors? I.e. do you have the button to fold/unfold the mirrors on the door switch panel?

If the answer is yes, then there's a STAR mod that enables 'fold/unfold with lock/unlock'.

If the answer is no, then the car is equipped with manually folding mirrors and they obviously won't fold/unfold with lock/unlock.

If the settings are not on your dash . I'd say no. Some are found via the steering wheel options also.

You could maybe check your Vin against one of the online data card websites.

If you have a button inside the car that folds them ,I'd not be manually folding them from the outside tbh. Just get into the habit of pressing it .

Incidentally, while it's true the various options were removed from cars following the post-COVID semiconductor chips shortage, it's also important to understand that MB always has certain base trim level of their cars (up to and including the E-Class) that came without electricity folding sure mirrors, often much to customers' surprise.
