Following my Project update on here, http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/mbclub-projects/173951-detailed-oil-burner-e320-cdi-10.html

I've fitted a larger intercooler and Performance exhaust to my e320 cdi, all mods use standard fittings and can be reversed.

Here's a small vid of my Turbo tractor lol

The sound is not intrusive inside at any speed, and the power delivery is very smooth.

Let the abuse begin lol:crazy:

Where's the noise???

lol it gives a nice rubble over stock, under load it sounds really good out side and i was very conscience of the fact that i didnt want any drumming or booming inside the car. (im not a boy racer) lol

A friend of mine fitted the exact same system to his saloon e320 211 so i knew what it was going to sound like, being a estate inside its a little louder than the saloon but just right.

The car certainly rev's alot easier and pulls well although most of it was down to the intercooler if fitted.

What intercooler have you fitted?

Its from the w211 3.0v6 cdi, as its a larger cooler ie thicker but still use's all the orginal mounting points and Pipe connectors, i did have to slacken off a couple of ac pipes to stop any rubbing as its quite tight in there, but it wasn't a big deal.

The Surface area was the same as some of the Universal Chinese ones i got suggested, i liked the idea of keeping the Oe attachments. :)

I actually like small subtle mods, makes the vehicle stand out from the crowd, in a nice way
