A tip for the toilet flush.
Drill a hole through the caravan floor inside the toilet waste chamber and attach a pipe from the original drain connection.
I actually used a brass straight connector like the ones used in gas fittings. I screwed one end of the connector into the plastic of flush tank then using copper pipe ( I think around 10mm) routed this via a small gas shut off valve and through the floor.
I can now drain down my tank without and spillage. The drain down is also handy for flushing off any spillage of toilet chemical and rinsing your hands.
As for caravanning this year we’ve decided to give it a miss. We feel it’s not worth taking the covers off and returning from storage then re stocking it for possibly only a few weekends away.
Remember the virus is still out there.
