It’s a TripBuddy. Not many around tbh and am unsure whether still being made. Two berth, oven, hob, fridge, shower, loo etc.

It looks really funky. No doubt the twin axle makes it a better tow but it looks a little overkill; our 'van has an mtplm of 1500kg and makes do with one axle!!

Exactly what I was thinking! Four tyres to replace, two sets of brakes to service, heavier, harder to level, harder to manoeuvre when unhitched ... all things you put up with on a big van, but on a 2-berth

Certainly a very striking thing though!

Certainly a very striking thing though!

v easy to level, and the motor movers and being easy to reverse helps a lot. It is big and heavy, single cast fibre hybrid shell so no leaks ever sealed teak floor makes it a wet room and solar panels atop the air con make powering smooth. Designed by yacht makers. Awning/tent means can be 4 berth, but 2 suits us fine.

I had a look at the website, c.700kg of payload. I can't imagine how much cr@p my wife could pack for a weekend away if I told her she had that much allowance!!
