For Dieselman........ warning Citroën!!!!

I was at a wedding on Lake Garda a few weeks ago and the Citroen guys had a bit of a get together so I snapped away on the phone for Dieselman.

I had a Citroen Xantia as a company car some years back. Fantastic until the camshaft belt went at 34k miles and had to have a replacement engine.

Father in Law had a succession of CX's he loved them, I admired the engineering, it seemed he could pull out the inner wing via the wheel arch to work on the engine but the ride for me made me feel quite queasy.

The DS Familiale and the Mehari are worth a few pounds now, probably the equivalent of £30+k for the Familiale and £10+k for the Mehari.

Lovely. That Familiale is quite gorgeous, the Mehari is not a colour you'd have difficulty finding.

Keep on going for the Mehari... I saw a few for the first time a few days ago in France, looked like fun so checked the prices, they seem to get going at about the 12k mark, up to about £22k for a 4x4 version. Look like great fun though
