2001 Mercedes-Benz C320 Elegance, full AMG body styling

This is a great example of a 2001 Mercedes-Benz W203 C320 C-Class with full service history (6 Mercedes dealer stamps and 1 specialist). Last serviced at 79,000 miles. Current mileage circa 87,000 (will update the ad with the exact reading shortly).

This car was first registered on 1st October 2001. I’ve owned this car since October 2004. Prior to me it’s had two owners, so you would be the 4th.

SUMMARY
I’ve owned the car for almost 10 years now and it’s been cherished. However, it’s the longest I’ve ever kept hold of a car. It’s now used by my wife for the school run and I make sure it gets a good longer run from time to time. We just fancy a change now and my wife has spotted a couple of cars she’d be keen on. If we had the space we would love to keep this.

It’s coming up to 13 years old so there are some age related marks and blemishes. Luckily it doesn’t suffer from much of the rot that many Mercedes of this era do. Whilst under the MB paint warranty it had pretty much a full respray (excluding the roof). Only the passenger side front door shows some signs of bubbling again on the bottom edge of the door. All of the arches look to be in good condition. A couple of the alloys have some kerb marks (one has quite a lot of lacquer peel).

THE CAR
My C320 started life as an Elegance model but has been tastefully modified using lots of genuine Mercedes-Benz parts. This car has had £000’s spent on it and now has the looks of a C32 AMG and externally also now has the appearance of a 2005+ facelift C-Class. Having the M112 powered 3.2 litre petrol engine it also has lots of power (circa 215 BHP), coupled with the genuine AMG exhaust it’s refined around town, yet under hard acceleration you can really hear the V6 growl.

This is a high specification car and is finished in a classic colour combination of Mercedes Brilliant Silver (paint code 744) with contrasting Orion Grey full light grey leather.

The original factory specifications is as follows:

I have all the old MOT’s showing the mileage, we’ve covered just over 2000 miles in the last year. No malfunctions showing on the Multi-function display.

The air conditioning was re-gassed in August 2014 and blows nice and cold.

The current MOT is due to expire on 1st December 2014. I do intend to sell the car with a full years (or 13 months) MOT. However, the earliest I could get the 13 months is 2nd November 2014.

I also have to apply to put our cherished plate onto retention. The tax expires 30th September and I’ll be re-taxing for 6 months, however I believe under the new rules this is no longer transferable.

Looking to advertise this for £2,750 and it’s not listed anywhere else yet. I figured I’d list it here first in case anyone would be interested.

I could even do a deal considering serious offers for it as is without putting it through the MOT once the plate has been transferred. I intend to advertise it properly once the plate transfer, MOT and a full clean have been carried out and I’ve had the chance to take lots of photographs. Until then there are pictures in the gallery (see my signature).

If anyone is genuinely interested please PM me, the car can be viewed in Iver (South Bucks), not far from Uxbridge, M40 J1.

Should have also said, we have three keys, two of the original plastic smart keys and one new chrome key which I sourced from a US dealer when the new keys started coming out. The chrome key therefore has the red panic button on it, however as the U.S. cars operate on a different radio frequency that one only unlocks using infra red, I had hoped that it would have functioned like our original keys.

For clarity, the original keys work absolutely fine and will lock and unlock from further away as normal. I only bought the chrome key because I wanted the newer style key!

New price £2,450 ono

We're away this weekend but I intend to advertise this (probably on eBay classifieds) early next week.
