SWMBO hath retired so we are down sizing the fleet. I dont have it in my heart to sell the 124 so my C270 Estate is up for sale.
Lots has been done to this car both by myself and by Camerafodder the previous owner.
MoT is valid to May 2015 and car is currently SORN at my house. Mileage is 133400.
It has a starting issue at the moment. I'm putting this down to a slight battery drain as she fires up instantly once the battery is fully charged. This is a new battery from Mercedes last year.
The following has been done.
No1 Injector refurbed two weeks ago.
Camerafodder did this lot.
Front Springs
Rear exhaust section
Prop shaft donut
Rear drop-links
Rear ARB bushes
Front Control arms both sides upper and lower (Lemforder)
Front ball joints
One injector re-seated
Fuel lines from filter to diesel pump (common fault)
Main battery
Alternator clutch pulley
Idler pulley
Tensioner pulley
Serpentine Belt
2 services one at Limetree Garage Lancaster and one at 124 Works Preston.
Gearbox service at 124 Works.
4 tyres about 8K ago, Kankook Ventus V12
4 spare adharaz alloys included (need refurb as do main wheels), 2 good winter Tyres on these too!
Parking brake shoes (they’d come to bits)
Front discs and pads
All parts genuine Merc apart from front control arms but they are Lemforder so should be fine as these are OEM fit.
So you can see it has been looked after.
