I keep passing this sorry-looking CL600 on my journey to work: it has been parked there for quite a long time not appearing to move. Seems to have had quite a hard life and now has no MOT so I wonder if someone bought it and now it needs major work to pass...

Is it still taxed, because I notice it's parked on the public highway which could be a problem if it isn't.

It's about a taxed and insured CL600...with no MOT.

Fair points! Maybe it's less interesting than I thought :fail

I guess I've been passing it for months, marvelling at a rare and formerly very expensive car unused in a lowly (very lowly!) back street. Given that the luxury car of choice in this area is an early W203, maybe this was an attempt at one-upmanship gone wrong...

Anyway, I'll go back to posting about paint drying and snail racing instead

Forlorn.....I like the choice of word.

Shame it's been passing so much time on a not-so-wide road like that. Fall from grace from when it was first picked up at the showroom, I imagine, with some pomp and circumstance!

Not such a lowly back street, either.

Yeah but the advert doesn't mention how fast the car is?

The street:car ratio looks pretty low to me
