Formula 1 2025

I'm hoping Ferrari give Lewis a good car and he adapts quickly.
Lando to take his good form on and hopefully get the drivers championship. Piastri has proven to be a very adept driver and capable of winning things himself. Will McLaren support both drivers and for how long?
Can Red Bull get another all winning car again? Hopefully they fall flat on their ar$es such is my dislike of everything they stand for. The team is toxic, especially Horner and Verstappen. But they will be there or thereabouts. It's 2026 when they switch to Ford power units I think they suffer.
Surprise driver next season? Carlos in the Williams. I fancy him to do very well. Shafted by Ferrari, he deserved better.

Audi and Porsche have run against each other under the VW banner at Le Mans before.
This rumour, if true could make sense of Sainz's swap to Williams for this year.:dk:

After that anyone. As long as RedBull don't win owt, don't like them at all.

My sentiments too and it would seem a common view here.

I wonder what Red Bull's reputation as the "nasty team" does for there intended purpose which is presumably to sell Red Bull energy drinks. Being consistently obnoxious isn't the usual way to go about advertising a product. It would have to be the ultimate demonstration of the adage that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

They were always a bit dodgy (Multi-21 and so on), but since Dietrich passed away, the toxicity level in RBR has increased by more than a few notches.

I think that Lewis has had his time and won't win much now...I certainly don't see his name on another title. People rarely come back to winning form after a gap.... just based on previous F1 history. That said in this case I'd be more then happy to be proven wrong! Ferrari need to build a winning car too of course.

If Hamilton cannot rediscover his ability/confidence to really wring the car’s neck in qualifying, then I’m inclined to agree. If he does, then he showed last season that he can still race. So…

My current read is that due to the current aero regs, the suspension is brutally rigid in order to manage the ride height. That, in addition to Mercedes building a bigger car in order to accommodate George, seems to have affected Hamilton’s ability to feel the car which has affected his confidence. We’ll see in the first few rounds just how well he gets on with the ‘25 Ferrari. Hopefully he and Charles will have a car with which they can challenge.

I would love to see Lewis win again - perhaps mostly because he was cheated out of the championship a few years ago (and I don’t use that word lightly - but the odds are stacked against him.

If he’s not won the by 2026 then I would say that the odds of him winning will be almost zero, and unless the Ferrari is exceptional and well suited to Lewis then I suspect that 2016 will be his last.

What gives me hope is that Lewis made the decision to move to Ferrari a year ago, and I believe that their 2025 us heavily revised, so maybe just maybe.

So will Adami be the new 'Bono' for Lewis? That, at least seems likely.
Has anyone else spotted that both multi F1 and Moto GP champions are both headed to Italy to wear red this year?
There is great speculation if one or either will be successful in their quest for yet another world title.
Both have faced difficulties, both have shown promise again last year. I, for one, believe both can be champions again. We'll see!

And enjoy finding out:cool:

Since Adrian Newey left + other promient staff, Red Bull has been on the decline. i can't see them challenging for anything in 25 + Verstappen will jump ship if his car doesen't improve and i don't think Verstappen Snr is a great fan of Horner.

Whether Verstappen Senior is a fan of Christian Horner or not the bottom line is that Mr Horner has led the Red Bull team to multiple World Championships and is one of the most successful team principals in the history of the sport.

If the Red Bull car doesn't deliver that we will see Max Verstappen have to pull a WDC rabbit out of the hat of an underperforming car. If he manages that then 2025 might see his greatest drives.

Indeed, one doesn’t need to be a fan of Christian Horner to recognise the results that have come RBR’s way during his tenure. There have been some interesting departures from the team, so whether or not this affects the car’s performance this year will be interesting to see.

Max certainly has the driving ability to extract every bit of performance from a car. Maybe that will be enough in ‘25, maybe not. Whether he has the temperament for a season-long battle in an underperforming car remains to be seen. He won’t be the first or last driver to lose interest if the car simply won’t deliver the goods. That said, nobody knows the performance of the ‘25 cars yet.

I think since the departure of Newey the performance has affected last years car compaired to the beginning of the season. I can't see them becoming the dominant force they where.
