As the insurance was due on my mo'bike(s) (and was dead against renewing with Mrs Nash after she charged me 32 quid for a change of bike on one policy) I quickly found myself looking at ebike insurance.

I didn't need to look any further because I took out a std fully comp policy for the FJ1200 (123 GBP) and got fully comp classic bike policy on my '82 Honda 750 American import for the sum of.....

£0.00.

I know there are many bikers on here and thought you might like to share this.

What credit crunch.

p.s. the following morning I got the usual courtesy call from them asking why, after my recent visit to their website, didn't I take out a policy. The honda is now MOTed and taxed which probably explains the rain we've been having, so please accept my apologies for the poor weather.

I had a similar experience with... I can't remember!

I got my Ducati insured and was told that my Cagiva was small enough to be insured for free, but that if I wanted a certificate (this was a few months after the policy started) I would need to pay £10 for a replacement certificate, which I gladly paid!

Bike insurers aren't so bad at the end of the day!
