Freewiew TV prob

I can't get E4 on my Freeview Digital box! It's a Pioneer one. It shows up in the menu which I have recently updated re channels, but won't come on the screen when selected. I'm sure it was there before. Any ideas anyone.

I dont think E4 is Freeview, you still have to subscribe somehow. I have the same with my Philips box, lots of channels are listed but somehow you have to subscribe.

E4 is not Freeview.

You will see more channels available now in your listings, but some of these are subscription only. This is down to the release of Top up TV .

You need a SIM card for Top up TV, so only really any use for people using old ON/ITV Digital boxes as opposed to the new simless boxes, although new boxes are coming out.

It's only £7 a month though so all the while I resist the cost of Sky, I can recommend it.
