Cant find one at ECP or GSF. Any ideas on where an roughly how much? Saw one on ebay with droplinks but im cautious in case its not from right car. Is it worth trying local scrap yards? Is it worth getting drop links at same time? Car is '03 c220 cdi coupe. Tia for any help. Much appreciated

Had mine replaced a couple of weeks ago. If yours is the same, (I have a saloon with Sports Pack) the bushes are bonded to the bar and cannot be bought separately.
The drop links didn't need replacing.

Anti-roll bar £65.00 + half hours labour at Merc Indie.
Part number for mine is A2033234465

Did it stop the squeeks over speed bumps ?

When I bought my W203 I noticed the anti roll bar had snapped off at the offside and somebody had decided it would be best to just remove it and the droplink.

i had the same problem, couldn't source a new bar myself so went down to my local garage and they got me a new bar complete with bushes and drop links from Mercedes for around £80. Took me 20 mins lying on the deck to fit it.

I believe its a coupe sport yes. Figured mercedes would be dearer than that. One I found 2nd hand on ebay is 50 with drop links but i think I'll give mercedes a ring 2moro with that part number. Got a cpl of ppl handy with tools available to help luckily as im beyond useless with things like this. Thanks for the help everyone. V handy

The wear was actually picked up during a service and the indie ordered the part from the main dealer.
I only had an occasional squeak and a slight knock over rough roads such as cobblestones, but its made a vast difference and both were cured. As I said, the bushes are now bonded to the bar, so it cannot rotate within the bushes.

When I checked on one of the Russian sites using my VIN to see if I could get a part number for just the bushes, it does state that the part number had been replaced and the new part was described as 'silent', but that could be down to the google translation. However, it wasn't clear to me that the replacement was the complete anti-roll bar. (Again it could be something is lost in translation).

I don't know if this is only applicable to models with Sports Pack, or MY changes, as there are 3 different diameter bars listed.

You would do better giving them your Reg. No. or VIN to be sure they supply the correct part.

what this price included shipping?

I had to replace the front ARB on my 2001 S203 c270, found the part number then looked on partsreunited.co.uk, bought the part from MB Manchester - and yes, the centre bushing is bonded on and not available separately. I also obtained form the the rose joints and drop links so gave the front suspension a good refresh, stopped the clunls and knocks over potholes etc.

No shipping involved. The MB Indie I use ordered it from our local main dealer who delivered it to him.

If I mislead anyone with my comments about checking part numbers on the Russian website I apologise. I was trying to source just bushes to avoid the additional cost of paying for a complete anti-roll bar. Although replacement bushes are available for certain models, they weren't for mine.

HTH.

My local mercedes garage wanted 82 for arb an 77 for drop links. The car is an 03 plate with plenty of miles. Ill keep it for as long as possible but i ended up payin 42 for arb an drop links attached from prestige parts at oldham. Delivered. They took reg so hopefully it'll be an easy swap tomorrow mornin. Fingers crossed
