front centre armrest options

I have just bought a 57 plate w211 which has the uhi phone cradle in the centre armrest. The arm rest cover has two buttons for opening. but no split down the middle that I have seen on other w211. Is the solid top, and I am guessing the lack of top storage tray due to the UHI fitment, or is something missing?

The new W211's no longer have the split armrest lid which opened up like the shuttle doors!. Instead, the UHI is now vertically mounted at the rear on the inside of the armrest.

The link showed an exploded view of one of the centre consoles.

Best off looking at EPC. A yearly subscription to it is just a few euros and its bang up to date, genuine Mercedes and works. It also has details of cars made almost up to date. The Russian site stops about 2005/2006 for lots of cars and is sometimes plain wrong! I tried finding the datacard for a brand new (unregistered) SL the other day. EPC had it
