My front Fog light has blown on the drivers side on my Merc E240 2000
is there an easy way to change this?

I changed the whole fog lamp unit on the E300TD last winter after a stone broke it.
I accessed it from underneath at the rear of the lamp unit.
If you are only changing the bulb, the access is also from the back.

Thanks for the info im also planning to change my fog light next week and gladly found this thread.:thumb:

all i have to do now is to find a low price fog light.:D

Depending on the type of fog-light fitted, you may find that you can just purchase the glass from MB.....i did this on my c-class and it cost me about £10......much cheaper than purchasing the whole unit.

Was simple to change too, if a bit fiddly.....helps if you remove the front wheel too to get access (at least it did on a c-class)

On the facelift w210 (which yours is) there is a small trap door under the bumper, below the fog light. Reach in remove the cover from the back of the fog light, remove bulb and replace.

Sound easy. Its not, its very very awkward.

Surely the op has just blown a bulb.
