FRONT NUMBER PLATE PLINTH

Hi, new to thre group so thanks for having me.
My wife has a 2019 SLC180 and because I'm covering the front in chip guard film, I want to remove the front number plate plinth.
I have removed the three holding screws and uncliped the bottom but still cannot remove. Tried pulling hard but still no joy.
Am I missing something. ???

Hi, sorted, used a screwdriver and pushed down on the expansion clip (to close it up a bit) so it can be pulled out with the number plate plinth. guess if it was less vunerable to the paint work a little heat to soften up the expansion clip would make it real easy. That plastic clip is not very forgiving .
