Front right window control and wing mirror not working

Hi All,

I encountered an issue yesterday evening that the electronics for the front right are not working. The mirror controls are not working, the mirror stayed full up (it should come down a little bit when you open the door). The right mirror cannot be adjusted and the head light washers are not working.

The car is a 2004 Mercedes CLK 240 Elegance Cabriolet.

I checked all the fuses what can be related to the window and the mirrors and they're all fine.

What else could be the issue?

Have you checked for a broken wire in the hinge area of the mirror?
Its a common place for the wiring to break and will cause loss of adjustment.

Another possibility is a faulty door control module behind the door card. Its the small black box where all the wiring connections plug in. A test with MB Star diagnostics should confirm that one.

Can't help with the headlight washers except to say check the reservoir hasn't run dry or the plastic pipe to the washer got dislodged.

Hi, I haven't had time to check anything yet. I mentioned the head light washer, because it is on the same fuse as the right window control and the right mirror control, however the fuse was okay.

I'll let you know how do I get along.
