Front screen rubber seal replacing W210

Hi, at the bottom of the the windscreen on the 2002 w210 where the glass meets the seal ,the seal about 10mm wide (or it seems like 1 seal each side ) which integrates into the black plastic panel has gone cracked and disintegrating . The seals taper to a curve so look like they are a premoulded piece each side left and right or 1 piece but the dealer gave me e same and doesnt terminate in a fine edge against the screen.Can anyone confirm a part/s number correctly .It looks like the black plastic panel holds the seal in place slipping underneath it in a seamless join with the plastic panel .

update as no one has answered me yet!

I bought part number A170 831 00 98 but am convinced this is the wrong seal for the plastic panel at the bottom of screen that sits under the plastic panel.

any assistance would be helpful,

I am not a real help but my W203 hasn't got a seal but is fitted my black mastic/glue about 8mm in depth
