ok thanks for that, im in New Zealand and have a classic model (base model i guess, no bells and whistles). My car has been imported from Australia. (still has a service sticker on the door jam with auzzie all over it.
i have fitted front shocks from a low mileage c200. yet to test them but my original shocks had cracked mounts at the top when i removed them, so they got to be a better ride.
it takes all of 5 mins to remove a shock (maybe a bit longer than that) and 10 times as long to fit them.
The right one (first one) went in fairly easy but the left one....well lets just say i was frustrated at times.
sometime ill get to change the rears which should be easy?
