Hello to all

I wondered what levels of fuel consumption owners are getting with the 120 sport vito dualinner

I got mine on the 2nd of march was told 44 mpg on a run i travel all motorway so been running up and down using cruise control set at 50, 60 and 70 but best i am getting is 32 mpg

I had a 115 before this and this gave me 35 and i drove it hard. God knows if i boot this thing what it will go down too.

Is my van bad or is this typical of the model if so where do merc get there 44 from?

regards
Andy

My 120 now has 22,000 miles on the clock - and averages 27.2 mpg on my daily 10mile each way run. I get between 30 and 32 on a decent run (200 miles plus). I have checked these figures fill to fill as well. I reckon this is pretty good and is certainly on a par with my previous 140bhp Renault Trafic 2.5td. I am not overly careful with my right foot and most miles are 'lightly loaded' (the van not me).

Funnily enough I asked a mate today what he gets from his new (ish) VW 174 hp Transporter. 23mpg!! Same driving conditions.

IMHO you are spot on the money - who quoted you 44mpg?

September my bus is two years old and I would normally start to think about replacements. Can't think of anything on the market that I would rather have. She's Perfect.

If I were to drive it really hard I could probably get it down to 19mpg on the same run BUT of course I'll deny it ever happened at 3 in the morning!
