Hi all,
Mercedes change diesel fuel filter every 4 years or 60k miles.
Mines due again shortly (was done at 4 yes old) but car is on 58k.
Anyone left left bit longer if milage is lower?

Are you doing it yourself? A genuine MB filter is only £35 and it's even cheaper for an identical OEM replacement (Mann) on my E350 W212 (£23). Just change it?

That sounds like an air filter fuel filters are more expensive than that.
I agree about air filters for that price just change them

The price depends on which filter the car has, the newer ones have heating 'element' and are more expensive; IIRC, there are three or four types for the OM642, assuming that's which engine it is.

If the OP's saying that the car has done 58,000 miles but is due it's second filter change, then a slight delay probably wouldn't be a problem; personally, I'd simply just change it.

Yes mine has the heating element makes it more expensive
