I've got a hit and miss issue with my gauge.. If I fill her up i can see it is full but then if I turn off engine and turn it back on it will say empty, and it won't change until I turn it off and again or maybe not at all. Is this a difficult issue to fix or is it the usual put it on a star again??
Any information would be appreciated..

Sticking gauge / faulty sender? try giving gauge a tap.

Its either the gauge or sender or connections to/from them.anything else amiss?

The steering wheel buttons don't work either of that would make a difference.. Doubt it though

Could be the rear SAM if steering controls are not working, Just had the fuel gauge issue on mine though and replaced the pump and sender units under the back seat with two from the breakers, dead easy 30 minute job well worth doing for piece of mind.
