fuel gauge not working on w203

my fuel gauge went down to zero as I was driving back from work and the range was displaying nothing, anybody else had a similar problem, there was plenty of fuel in the car. First time this had happened on my c-class

i'd say dodgy fuel sender..... i have a similar prob on mine (petrol guage doesnt rise when i switch on ignition sometimes). apparently its a official MB recall

I had the same problem and MB fixed FOC.
