Hi all, coming back from hols in Wales on Saturday, smelled fuel, checked under bonnet and found a split in one of the hoses connected to the fuel filter canister.
I cut it back and put new jubilee clip on (as the is plenty of hose) but I want to replace the two, as they may both be getting perished.
Can anyone tell me what size(diameter)/type of hose I need, is it generic (for cheapness), or should I go to MB and pay the big bucks?
(Just to say that the car did great, pulling four people, two dogs and a trailer full of luggage all over the Welsh hills without a problem, and returned 38 MPG to boot.)
