With fuel prices at that level I would need to hand over €619.38 to fill the tank on my C220.

I foresee a new business opportunity arising for mortgage brokers.

On April 1st this year (yes really) ASDA in Bradford put the decimal point in the wrong place and on all "pay at the pump" sales, unleaded was sold at 12.9 pence a litre for 2 hours

All fuel price changes at the ASDA need to be signed-off by a senior manager.
(My mate's wife works there).
