Fuel Pump Relay for W126 280 SE

Any ideas anyone? The daughter's partner is trying to resurrect a W126 and needs a Fuel Pump relay. MB price apparently is £200.....

Is it different to the 124 280 relay? Did ours a few months ago. Fuel pump relay £18 and OVP relay £65 - from MB. I cant believe the 126 is so much more.

Sorry for late reply. I don't know any more as yet. I have asked for the relay here so that I can see what I'm dealing with, ie Part No. etc.

it is the same as w123 relay try europarts for around £70ish from memory

Part no I have is A0015454305 called fuel pump cutoff relay-- if so will be a very simple relay similar to this http://www.dvsegmbh.info/PDF/einbau/22011/5/PG_SI_0016A_EN_WEB.PDF

Eurocar parts have similar relays for w123 models [ A0015456805 ??] but make sure you get one for the 2.7 engine??? not the later 4 cylinder models. ECP should be able to keep you right if you quote the chassis no--- the injection engine is shared with the R107 sports car of the time so might be listed under it ?? The correct ones cost £110 +afaik.
Have a look on the outside can of the old relay- There is sometimes a diagram and pin designations there--- then compare it to the replacement.

Thanks guys, what a great bunch you are on here. I'd just about given up this task he set me when he produced the relay cover.....not the insides....dooh.

But yes, fantastic, it is A0015454305.....but it says on the case E-Tacho, 6650/min 6 Zyl 12V, also 05 8985 21

Thanks again, I'm up and running on this project impossible now.
