Yes the E class has auto dipping beams just in case the driver is hard of thinking

It works extremely well in my experience.

As well as dipping for oncoming vehicles, dips when streetlights are ahead, dips when approaching cars in the same lane, but doesn't get fooled be reflective roadsigns.

Impressive and handy tech.
