I have a problem with my E320 W210 that is progressively getting worse. The 7.5amp fuse (fuse no 8) under the rear seat blows when I turn on the radio. This is doubly annoying as it appears to be the same fuse that controls the electric windows, wing mirrror adjustment and remote boot release. Its happened on a few occasions and has also coincided with the loss of good radio reception so I am guessing it could be the FM booster thing that lives in the C Pillar.
Question is though that according to the little card that is in the fuse box this fuse has nothing to do with the radio etc, so I am slightly confused as to why this fuse should blow!
Can anyone offer any ideas or advice on this, I am thinking of replacing the splitter box but would appreciate any tips etc.
